Orthodontics (braces)

We provide complex Orthodontics treatment for adults and children. Our Orthodontist, Dr. Ladislav Kocman, is available regularly at our clinic.

Orthodontics deals with straightening and aligning badly positioned teeth, including crowded teeth, extra teeth, missing teeth or jaws that are out of alignment. Children and adults can both benefit from orthodontics. Treatment normally takes in the range of 12-24 months. Treatment may take a little longer for adults than for children and, because an adult’s facial bones are no longer growing, certain corrections for adults may not be accomplished with braces alone.

There are many different types of braces. We offer both fixed and removable braces. Fixed braces can be made from various materials - usually ceramics, composites, non-precious metals or even gold alloys (Incognito system). Ceramic braces have white ceramic brackets and are therefore not as visible as metal braces.
